Supporting the psychological health and wellbeing of anyone who has been infected or affected by the use of contaminated blood or blood products.

Who is this service for?

The Infected Blood Psychological Service is an NHS service specifically for:

  • anyone living in England who has been infected by receiving contaminated blood or blood products
  • anyone – such as a family member – or someone close to them who has been affected by the contaminated blood scandal

The service has no age restriction. It is offered to both adults and children.

Non-urgent advice: Urgent support

The Infected Blood Psychological Service does not offer support for mental health emergencies or crises.
